Having lived in the Kansas City for over 45 years, Mike is very familiar with the area and has personally witnessed the extensive growth especially in the Johnson County marketplace.  Mike is trustworthy – always putting the needs of his clients first; and by being a strong negotiator for his clients, it allows them to get great values whether buying or selling a home.  He and his team have established cutting edge marketing systems including the latest technology to keep his customers at the fore front of real estate trends.  Mike has quickly gained the respect from other agents in the Greater Kansas City marketplace that have resulted in a reputation where other agents are pleased to work with him and his team.

Mike moved to Prairie Village, KS in 1968 when his father was transferred from St. Louis.  He is a graduate of Bishop Miege High School in Roeland Park, KS ranking 5^th in a class of just over 200.  He graduated from Kansas State University in 1982 with a B.S. in Marketing earning the Dean’s List three years.  He worked in the Insurance Industry for number of years with both VALIC and The Hartford in the area of Employee Benefits.  Mike has been married for 30+ years and has three adult children and one “grand-dog”.  He is very involved with his church, having coached the grade school track program and is a past Grand Knight of the Holy Spirit Knights of Columbus.  He also served as the President of his local Home Owner’s Association.  He enjoys watching sports of all kinds, but especially The Royals, Chiefs, and K-State.  He loves his large family as he is one of 27 first cousins (all still living) – with one currently serving as the U.S. Ambassador to Ireland.  His wife Beth (Johnson) is from Lawrence, KS and they have 30 nieces/nephews on that side of the family.  He and Beth love to entertain and smoke BBQ for their family and friends, highlighted by their annual Turkey Fry party on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and St. Patrick’s Day Hoolie in March.
